In the first half of the presentation, you will get an overview of what we currently know about youth who die by suicide in Utah, including preliminary 2017 data. A short discussion of the recent report issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on youth suicide will be included. The second half of the presentation is an introduction to new research endeavors currently proposed by the Utah Department of Health, including an overview of the psychological autopsy protocol--and how you and your school can help.
