Technology can be a help or a hindrance in the classroom. It can affect behavior, classroom management, and student success. As educators know, success in the classroom can be dependent on success at home. This session will discuss strategies and advice through the developmental stages for educators and parents to be partners in creating healthy online behavior, appropriate norms around technology and overcoming the Homework Gap. Learn ways to encourage better digital parenting and how to navigate the influence of technology at home, in class.
